History of oil painting technique
     It is considered that the oil paint is created by van Eyck brothers. Tempera-oil technique of the Fleming towards the middle of the 16 century began to be replaced by oil painting. Probably it is an invention of Venetian school. Titian was the innovator who passed on to oil resin paint.
